Amy Pegg is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter, from Tasmania, Australia. Influenced by a wide range of artists from those provided by her father such as Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty and The Doors. Artists that Amy grew up inspired by also came in the form of Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and The Veronicas.

Amy crafts songs that blend elements of Pop, Country, Blues and Folk. Her sweet vocal tone, hand in hand with her relatable songs, ranging from warm soulful tunes to anthems, with heartfelt lyrics, portraying stories of personal hardship and triumphs.

Live, her simplified, honest and raw performance has earned Amy significant momentum in the Tasmanian music scene. Having performed at renowned Tasmanian festivals including Party in the Paddock, Festivale Tasmania, Tamar Valley Folk Festival, and more.

Amy began playing guitar when she was eight years old and performing to audiences since she was twelve. As Amy got older she found that she was wanting to sing songs that told her experiences and then began writing her own material in late 2014. Amy released her first single, ‘Out of My League’ in 2017. She then released her debut EP, ‘Players’ in October of 2019.

Amy shared her music with people around the state on an album tour, during which she opened for famous Australian country artist Troy Cassar-Daley in Queenstown, Tasmania. Amy has then gone on to release a number of singles including ‘Draw the Line’ and ‘The Queen’. Amy is currently working away in the studio on her next EP.
