Formed at the end of 2017, Big Al's is an indie-pop-grunge fusion trio from Hobart. Consisting of Alex Vann, Mintie Salad and Riley Allardice, all members share their instruments to express and blend their creativity together. Often found performing at local venues on weekend nights, Big Als bring a unique jangly surfy sound that will want to make you dance along. They recently self-recorded a demo of ‘Wok Boy’ at their home studio in a shed in Sorell, which was released on various sites such as Triple J unearthed and band camp. Another demo of ‘Chlorine’ alongside with a music video can also be found on their facebook page. The band is now in the working progress of constructing an album which will hopefully come together in the upcoming months.
