Cardinels are a five piece outfit from Launceston, Tasmania. Collectively, Cardinels boasts a unique, hybrid sound - shaped collaboratively with each band members artistic approach. Cardinels have shared the stage with multiple touring artists, including: Dead Letter Circus, Pagan, The Bennies, The Getaway Plan, Dream On Dreamer, Clowns and British India. They've had airplay on both National and International radio stations, including regular air play on Triple J's Short Fast Loud. Cardinels have played a number of interstate shows, as well as local events, including: Falls Festival and Taste of Tasmania. Cardinels released their debut album 'Sick Fiction' on 18/07/18. The 11 track release was recorded by Ryan Whiteman, and mixed, mastered and produced by Cardinels.
