KashKin is a seven-piece band hailing from Australia’s deep south on the edge of the Southern Ocean. Since coming together in March 2015 the band has been playing their brand of infectious funk to a growing and enthusiastic fan base, including performances at the Taste of Tasmania, the Tasmanian Composers Festival and Concert, the Australian Wooden Boat Festival, the global peace concert for West Papua, and performances for live radio broadcasts. In addition, to live performances, the band have been receiving airplay nationally and internationally in the US and Europe, including being featured on BBC radio on the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show where they were on the playlist alongside artists such as James Brown, Funkadelic, Michael Jackson, Maceo Parker and others.
