King B-Fine and Afrikaya Band is the new face of Original Afro Beat. Originating from West Africa King B Fine and Afrikaya Band, a 9-piece Original Root Rock Reggae Band, now relocated to Hobart Tasmania presents a powerfully uplifting live performance in Festival’s / Clubs and Live concerts. After arriving in Europe in 1998 King B Fine became a part of the Slovenian music scene where he formed the band “Rasta Movement” and began writing his own music infused with the cultural music of his motherland and Jamaican Roots and Dancehall riddims, delivering messages heavily influenced by Rastafarian philosophy and his experiences in a war torn Sierra Leone. Touring Europe and sharing the stage with some of Reggae’s greatest artists such as Anthony B, Cecile, Luciano, Macka B, Fantan Mojah, Vanguard Leader “Fitta Warri, Julian Marley, Sizzla and many others, gave him the opportunity to develop his own unique and energetic style of showmanship.
