Ma9Na started playing drums at 13 years and was sneaking into New Zealand venues watching bands setup and soundcheck.
At 14 band members pulled him on stage to play drums in one of their songs (the only one he knew at the time). They wanted to give him thea chance to ecperience the thrill of playing live to an audience. Needless to say he loved it.
Drumming will continue to be his first love, but he always had a secret passion for writing, recording and producing his own original songs. Nowadays, he has a home studio where everything is at his fingertips.
Ma9Na is also a closet bass player, born again guitarist and he says, "he plays Keyboards and piano like a 1 fingered typist".
