Nice Pie was formed in 2016 by Tim Chivers (vocals and lead guitar) and Ruben Nomikos (keys). Alongside Adrian Hayes (bass) and Jarrod Jacobson (drums), Nice Pie have brought our unique alternative rock style into the Hobart music scene by supporting other musicians and organising gigs. In February of this year we released our first EP, "Fun in a Bun", and we've been promoting it with several gigs in Hobart, including the opening celebration of the new University accommodation space on Melville Street. Nice Pie have post-punk revival and emo-pop influences, with punchy guitars, smooth leads and clean vocals. We have character, warmth and a positive, friendly stage presence. We are also highly dedicated to supporting the Tasmanian local music scene and enthusiastically representing our friendly, beautiful island state.

Music Tasmania acknowledges Tasmanian Aboriginal people as the traditional owners of this island, lutruwita (Tasmania). We pay our respects to elders past and present and acknowledge traditional peoples' connection to country. We respect the traditions and customs of the Aboriginal people of lutruwita, who remain the custodians of these lands.
