The Pits are a four piece Rock'n'roll band that have been playing around Hobart since 2014. Instruments used in the line-up are: Keyboards, guitar, bass and drums; a nod to classic pop bands like The Modern Lovers, which The Pits reference in their sound, although The Pits play originals only. The Pits released SHOUTING IN CAPS in 2017, and are releasing a new 8 track CD in 2019. Regulars at the Brisbane Hotel, The Pits have also played Altar and MONA bigstage, as well as interstate gigs.
