Renaté Bianca

Songwriter / Composer / Performer

Renaté Bianca is a Tasmanian-based songwriter and composer who explores in her music the wonder of what it means to be beautifully, imperfectly and gloriously human.

The magic of an early encounter with jazz music served as a musical beacon, bringing her home to a blues and jazz-inspired sound that is her own, grown from devotional roots and a childhood spent singing.

Her music has travelled with her around the world, from her Dutch-born roots and a childhood in New Zealand, to finding her home in the south of Tasmania.

Recognised by APRA as a finalist in their Professional Development Awards, Renaté Bianca has received multiple scholarships for tertiary composition studies and completed a Bachelor of Music degree at the Conservatorium of Music in Hobart in 2022.

Renaté Bianca works as a songwriter, composer/arranger and recording/performing artist. She releases her blues and jazz inspired songs and composes music for musical theatre.

Having released two singles this year, she is anticipating the release of her third single (a jazz/pop song titled 'Gumboots')  and her EP, 'Songs in Black & Blue', in October/November 2024.

Renaté Bianca - 2024 Releases:

THE TRACKER is a gritty blues/rock release by Renaté Bianca. Its driving rhythms and piano-based blues (think Elton John & Leon Russell’s ‘Hey Ahab’) form the musical underscore for a lyrical exploration into deeply existential territory. Available on Music Streaming Platforms from May 30th, 2024

LAAT ME NIET VALLEN is Renaté Bianca's second single release from her forthcoming EP 'Songs in Black & Blue'. With her distinct blues/jazz-inspired pop sound, Laat Me Niet Vallen is the perfect sequel to her blues/rock debut single 'The Tracker'. Available on major Music Streaming Platforms from July 5th, 2024
