Sara-Rose Millar is a singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and music producer based in Tasmania. Influenced by Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, Sara-Rose also takes inspiration from many other musical styles, including folk, jazz, and medieval / renaissance music. Sara-Rose has been singing and playing music from the age of 4 and composing her own music from the age of 10. She completed a music degree in 2004 as a composer and classical flautist and has worked as a music tutor as well as writing music for theatre and film productions. She has completed a diploma in music production from the Australian College of the Arts. Sara-Rose released her debut album ‘Echoes of Avalon’ in 2023 and released an updated version of the album in 2025. She has performed at festivals and events in Australia and the UK. Having moved to Tasmania in mid 2023, Sara-Rose is keen to get involved in the musical scene on the island. She is currently the Artistic Director of Out of Avalon, in-house musician and music co-ordinator for The Huon Pine Shop gallery, runs Harbour Sounds choir, is working on her second original album ‘Nomad’, and is undertaking a Bachelor of Creative Arts and Community Wellbeing and an Art Therapy practitioner course.
