Spinnabago are a group of five of the best and worst musicians from Hobart, Tasmania. Self-labelled as psychedelic-pop, their music is influenced by the likes of The Byrds, The Flaming  Lips, and Connan Mockasin.  Their lyrics are inspired by experiences shared with odd characters they’ve encountered on their journey through this strange life. Since their formation in 2018, Spinnabago has performed around Tasmania and the mainland including shows at the Falls Festival, Party in the Paddock, and Blundstone Arena.  Like countless others, the band have been on performance-hiatus over the COVID period,  Instead wisely using their time to record their debut release. Spinnabago’s debut EP  ‘Welcome Stranger’ is out December 21st on all major streaming platforms.
