Squid Fishing's un-ignorable noise can best be described as a blend of energetic folk punk, alternative, and indie rock. The band began as a three piece in early 2016 and released their first DIY EP “The Day The Puddle Flooded The House”, beginning to play regular shows in both Hobart and Launceston. With the addition of a lead guitarist, and the release of their first full band EP “How The House Breathes” with an interstate tour, Squid Fishing’s following has been consistently growing. Live shows generally consist of copious amounts of shouting and dancing, and participation is always welcomed.
