Prize winning Orchestral Composer, in 2019, Wayne won the Inaugural Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra (TSO) Heyward Prize for Orchestral Composition. https://tso.com.au/the-heyward-prize/ for his Orchestral work From Valley to Summit. A sonic story of the amazing World Heritage Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park in Tasmania. The work received its world premiere at TSO RACT Symphony Under the Stars in Launceston 22 February 2020, conducted by Johannes Fritzsch. Graduated from NSW State Conservatorium of Music with a B.Mus.Ed majoring in Composition, Orchestration and Arranging. Having taught Music Composition, Orchestration and Arranging Wayne has recently returned to his passion: Concert Music Composition.
