The Festival of Voices is one of Tasmania’s leading winter cultural events and Australia’s biggest and best festival celebrating the vocalist and the power of song. Held every year in July this unique festival welcomes thousands of choristers and vocalists for ten days of singing and song. The Festival offers a program of concerts, workshops and events and creates a unique opportunity for learning and performing. The annual Bonfire and Big Sing event is a unique and special part of the festival and brings together festival guests, artists and the general community for a massive fireside sing along on a magical mid-winter evening.

Music Tasmania acknowledges Tasmanian Aboriginal people as the traditional owners of this island, lutruwita (Tasmania). We pay our respects to elders past and present and acknowledge traditional peoples' connection to country. We respect the traditions and customs of the Aboriginal people of lutruwita, who remain the custodians of these lands.
