The Lark Distillery, next door to the visitor information centre, is at the fore of Tasmania's surge into the world of single malt whisky. Enjoy a wee dram via a tasting session, or a longer tour of the distillery that's 20 minutes' drive from the cellar door. On Friday and Saturday nights there's live music from 6pm, plus cheese-and-dip platters and Moo Brew on tap, if you're more of a beer boffin.
