The Moonah Arts Centre supports and promotes arts and cultural development within the City of Glenorchy and Southern Tasmania. The facility provides a welcoming space for community to meet, collaborate, share experiences and stories. We also have several spaces available to hire for album launches, gigs, presentations, functions and events. Our flexible Performance Space is perfect for intimate concerts, medium capacity gigs, theatre, film screenings, presentations and functions. The Performance studio space measures 9.6m - 17.6m, with an adjustable size stage, the space can comfortably sit 130. The Performance Studio has a maintained Yamaha U3 upright piano and four rigging points suitable for trapeze, silks and other aerials. We offer a special discounted rate for artists and can provide a venue manager and duty technician if required. 

The other space available for hire is our Makers workshop, which is suitable for workshops, rehearsals, small group presentations, etc. 

Our facilities were designed with inclusivity in mind featuring all-gender bathrooms, ramps, and ground-level access, hearing loops and accessible parking.
