Camilla Jones is an Irish born - Tasmanian raised artist who has recently returned to Hobart after 6 years away. In 2016 as a fresh graduate of BMus in Composition and Music Production, Camilla followed the call to her birthplace, Dublin, where she's been based for the last 3 years.

Camilla played extensively through Dublin, from busking on famous Grafton Street and the cobblestones of Temple Bar; to various songwriter events including the International Bar, Clockwork Door and Bruxelles; securing a 2-year residency in O’Connells Bar on Bachelors walk, and support slots in The Workmans Club, Tivoli Backstage and Sine E. Most notably Camilla and her band won the 2018 King Kong Club, and subsequently performed at Battle For the Bay Festival in Dollymount.  Since returning to Hobart Camilla Jones has played the local market and pub scene, whilst working on release of an electronic collaboration with Dublin-based producer Animal Party. Citing strongest influences as a mix of Irish folk singers and contemporary songwriters, audiences have told her she sits somewhere between Mary Black (Irish Trad), Sinead O’Connor (The Cranberries) and Missy Higgins.  You can find her on the usual platforms, Instagram, Soundcloud, Youtube, and Facebook.  If you’re interested in booking or collaborating, please contact Lucy on 0415 498 843
