Ignite Tasmania Music
Are you passionate about music and eager to hone your live music programming and management skills? Do you want to produce live events in Tasmania?
We’re thrilled to offer an extraordinary chance for eight young people aged 18-25 from Lutruwita/Tasmania to gain skills and experience producing live music events. Our program, Ignite Music Tasmania, is designed to teach you the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional music events right here in your home state.
As part of this program, you’ll acquire valuable skills from The Push, a renowned national youth music training organisation, and seasoned local professionals from Music Tasmania and Moonah Arts Centre. Together, you’ll plan, program, and deliver four public live music events for audiences of all ages. This hands-on experience will give you invaluable management and production skills for live music events.
Centred around putting on safe, accessible, and fun events for young people - by young people. This event management workshop breaks down the various roles involved in coming together to deliver a cohesive event as well as how to develop an event from concept to completion. A robust and insightful session for young people who are passionate about creating events that reach far and resonate deeply.
If selected, you’ll receive a stipend of $2100 (tax and superannuation included). However, participants must be available for all key dates so please review the schedule carefully before applying.
