Time is running out! Make sure to submit your application for the Unconformity Aboriginal Artist in Residence Program before noon AEDT on Feb 8th, 2023. Late submissions will not be considered.

This incredible program, backed by Arts Tasmania and the Minister for the Arts, gives an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander artist or cultural practitioner based in lutruwita/Tasmania the chance to do a residency in Queenstown, Western lutruwita/Tasmania. You'll find out if you got in by the end of February 2023.

The successful recipient will be provided with:

  • $2500 artist fee
  • $500 contribution towards materials
  • Self-contained accommodation
  • Per diems
  • A contribution towards travel expenses (e.g. fuel, hire car, etc.)
