Originally from Boorloo/Perth, Naomi Baltyn (formerly Smith) is a musician based in nipaluna/Hobart.

In 2014, Naomi independently released her debut EP, Liberté before to moving to Paris where she performed and collaborated with musicians including prolific French film score composer, Xavier Jamaux.

Naomi is also one half of Corbelle, an ambient electronic music project she shares with her husband, Sebastian. The pair has been active since 2016 when they released their debut single, Heart Collision. Their follow up single, Juxtapose was released in October 2017 and was nominated for a 2018 WA Music (WAM) Song of the Year Award in the electronic category. In 2019, Corbelle released a commissioned piece titled Twenty Two, which was selected for the Listen Up Music Songwriting Prize Grand Final in Sydney.

With a voice that is often described as unique and captivating, Naomi’s music is emotionally-charged, weaving themes of love, loss, vulnerability and life in all its forms. Expect sublime and ethereal sounds as Naomi performs a collection of her songs on piano and guitar including stripped back acoustic versions of Corbelle.

Naomi is also a professional voice over artist and has more than 6 years of radio broadcast experience on esteemed WA community radio station, RTRFM 92.1. She now presents her own music show, ‘Universal Traveller’ on Edge Radio 99.3.
