From deep down along the river, huddled in the dark recesses of the forest where no-one treads, a myth is born. A rumble of rhythm, a rolling cadence moves down into the valley as a fully formed force of nature.

The Southern Edge Blues Band….

S.E.B.B. was established in 2025 as a loose formation of Huon Valley musicians with a united purpose to bring some soulful blues action into the area. Playing original songs and selected blue interpretations, the line-up has gradually solidified into the present formation while still keeping the co-operative feel of it's beginnings by inviting the cream of Huon Valley's musicians to participate in the proceedings at the band's residency every last Sunday afternoon of the month at the Rhythm 'n' Roll Sunday Sessions at the Franklin Tavern, an iconic venue in the Valley.
