"Alas for those that never sing, but die with all their music in them!" - Oliver Wendell Holmes

Shani began her musical journey as a child learning the flute. Once she discovered in her teens that she had an aptitude for singing it became her lifelong passion and source of much joy. Consequently Shani has spent the last 25+ years gathering knowledge and working professionally within the arts and entertainment industry, as a performer, knowledge-sharer and cheerleader of others’ artistic endeavours.

Currently living in Penguin in the North West of Tasmania Shani teaches privately from her home studio and is the vocal coach at Don College in Devonport. Shani also cheerleads a community choir based in Penguin and performs locally solo, in a duo and also with a band. A keen supporter of live music in the North West of Tasmania Shani also gives her time as a committee member of the North West Musicians Club.
